Books I Read Over Break

I read 9 books over break. Woot! I love books oh so much. It was glorious to be able to read novels all day long for weeks on end. Here is the list.

Loving Frank ~ Nancy Horan

I, Claudius ~ Robert Graves

Wild Swans ~ Jung Chang

Shanghai Girls ~ Lisa See

The Mayor of Casterbridge ~ Thomas Hardy

Geisha: A Life ~ Mineko Iwasaki

Unwind ~ Neal Shusterman

The Looking Glass Wars ~ Frank Beddor

The Poisonwood Bible ~ Barbara Kingsolver

Has anyone read any of these? What did you think?

  1. I read Unwind! It was such an interesting and weird book. It really made me think though and I love books like that.

  3. I read The Poisonwood Bible, it was the first Barbara Kingsolver book I read, and I liked it so much I had to buy more. Actually it was like they found me, I kept finding them at thrift stores so I had to get them. Anyway, I also have Animal Dreams, The Bean Trees, Pigs in Heaven, and Prodigal Summer (the last 2 I still have to read) and the first 2 are decent reads :)

  4. nailpolishcute - I've read The Bean Trees since I posted this, and I enjoyed reading it very much. I did like The Poisonwood Bible better, but The Bean Trees is one of my friends' favorite book.
